Transition to Employment Project, EU

June 2012: KMG partners with Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria on an ESF Transition to Employment project to move individuals away from institutions into competitive work. Project is successfully completed June 2012.

NHP Canada renamed KMG

NIDMAR training to WSIB, Ontario

January 2012: Gail Kovacs delivers NIDMAR training to 21 individuals from the WSIB Ontario.

Frank Loritz joins KMG

Director of Medical and Specialized Assessment Services, 2011 – present Dr. Loritz is a licensed physician and certified assessor for catastrophic disability. He brings extensive experience in the delivery of assessment services that provide  customers and clients with evidence based information to make defensible decisions on return to work and absence management.

EUSF Training Project

November 2010 – December 2012: KMG partners with Slovakia and Czech Republic on an EUSF Assessment and Classification project to introduce Vocational Assessments and Disability Management training into European environments. Project successfully completed in December 2012.

NIDMAR education program, UK

October 2010-October 2016: KMG holds the primary license for NIDMAR education program in the UK.

April 2010: British Standards Institute launches Publicly Available Specification 150, a Code of Practice, technically authored by KMG.

VR Standards of Practice, UK

September 2005 – April 2007: KMG leads on the development of VR Standards of Practice launched in April 2007. VR Standards.

Healthy Minds at Work Project, Wales

June 2005: KMG secures a contract with the European Social Funded program in Wales, Healthy Minds at Work. KMG trains 58 Case Managers throughout Wales.

NHP (KMG) est. in the UK

March 2004: NHP established in the UK under the name KMG Health Partners.

Canada Pension Plan contract

September 2000: NHP commences contract to provide Vocational Rehabilitation Services for the Canada Pension Plan Disability program.

WSIB contract, Ontario

June 1998: NHP awarded Workplace Safety and Insurance Board contract to provider Labour Market Re-Entry Program services to injured workers in Ontario.

Gail Kovacs joins NHP

Director of Education and Professional Development, 1996 – present With over 40 years of experience, Gail is an internationally recognized expert in Disability and Absence Management. Gail has served as the National President of both the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and the Canadian Association for Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment. She is frequently called upon to speak at national and international conferences and is also published in the field.
